この度、バイリンガル美術雑誌『ONBEAT』のご企画により、伊豆高原にある「大室の杜 玉翠」にて、個展を開催させていただいております。
会期は2026年3月31日までです。
新作・旧作あわせて21点の絵画作品を、ロビーや通路など館内に展示していただきました。作品は販売もしております。
会場となる「大室の杜 玉翠」は、全9室すべてに源泉かけ流しの露天風呂を備えた、ラグジュアリーな宿。

展示コンセプト：
自然を見つめ、描こうとするたびに、私が見ているものは本当に「リアル」なのだろうかと疑問が湧く。同じ対象であっても、個人が持つ記憶や感覚というフィルターによって、それぞれ異なる像が浮かび上がる。そしてそれが人間以外の存在になると世界の捉え方はさらに変化する。本当の姿とは一体どのようなもので、私たちは実際には何を見ているのだろう。
他の生き物たちがどのように世界を見て、感じているのか。これまでは視覚的な面を考えていたが音もそうだ。動物は何を語り、岩石や樹木が発する音は何を伝えているのか。そうしたことに思いを巡らせることで、私たちが捉える自然とはまったく異なる「別の世界」が垣間見えてくる。
人間の聴覚は、他の生物と比べても限られた範囲にすぎず、世界に発せられている物事の一部のみを受信している。私たちには聞こえない音が世界には満ちている。生き物たちは各々の感覚を通じて、それぞれの現実を生きている。
私は、その無数の「 inaudible（聞こえない）」な存在のハーモニーに、深い関心を持っている。注意深く耳をすませば、そのオーケストラの一瞬に触れることができるのではないか、そんな期待がある。
蝋染めの制作過程では、見えない音や気配、境界のようなものを、染料や蝋を通して表現している。染料の広がりは、「空気」や「流れ」、「気配」、「音」などを表現し、蝋はそれぞれの存在の境界を守るように重ねられる。その反復が、ひとつの世界を築いていく感覚につながる。
蝋染めという技法を通して紡がれた「不可聴のオーケストラ」の一端を感じていただきたい。

Exhibition Concept：
As I observe nature, and attempt to render it, I find myself questioning—what I see, is it truly “real”? Even when looking at the same subject, different images emerge through each individual’s filters of memory and perception. And when considering non-human beings, our perspectives change even further. What, then, is the true form, and what are we actually seeing?
How do other living creatures view and feel the world? Until now, I primarily considered the visual aspect, but sound matters just as much. What are animals communicating? What messages are carried by the sounds of rocks or trees? Reflecting on these questions allows a glimpse into an “alternate world” entirely distinct from the nature we perceive.
Human hearing is limited compared to that of other living beings—we receive only a fraction of what the world emits. There are countless sounds we cannot hear. Each creature lives its own reality through its own sensory experiences.
I am deeply intrigued by the innumerable “inaudible” entities forming a harmony. I hope that if one listens carefully, they might experience a fleeting moment of that orchestra.
In my wax-resist dyeing process, I express those invisible sounds, presences, and boundaries using dye and wax. The spread of dye can represent “air,” “flow,” “presence,” or “sound,” and wax is layered purposefully to preserve each existence’s boundary. Through repetition, a unique world gradually forms.
Through the art of wax resist dyeing, I invite you to sense a glimpse of this “Inaudible Orchestra.”
